Hi.
Looking for a way to include video streams in my BCB5 Pro. app. like a
simple VCL "TV screen" component that you can connect programmatically to
video capturing inputs on the computer. Anyone seen such a thing somewhere?
Thanks

Thanks, looks very nice. Rather pricy though...

Goran,
But what would it cost you to code and test it yourself? If your company
has high overhead, Boian's price gets a lot cheaper. Plus he is great
for email support even for the "free" version.
The DirectShow demo application is the only thing that I have found that
will capture video data (via the USB) from my Panasonic PVGS31 digital
camcorder. The Panasonic firewire interface for the PVGS31 really sucks.

Tom,
I am not questioning his quality, support and value for money, merely
saying that I may get a funding problem for it. Was thinking out loud I
guess, about the old problem of explaining to technically unexperienced
management why this cost is justified.

Goran,
I have found it sometimes easier to beg forgivness for something I have
already done than to get permission to do it in the first place. Worked
for me, but I always had pretty good bosses.
Good luck

Hehe, have tried that method several times so I know what you mean. In this
case the result may be that I may be left personally with the tab so I'm
slightly more hesitant.
