Hi,

I have Borland c++ builder 5.0 professional. When a run BCB5 from my profile
I can't see all options from the IDE menu. For example in the View Menu,
Debug Windows, I have missing the Log View, CPU2, ... . Also I had the class
explorer missing, I changed some registry entry and now it is visible.

If I start BCB5 in the other profile I can see all of them. I have
reinstalled BCB5 from my new profile, but they remain not visible.

Any idea of how to fix the whole problem?

Simeon,

You're probably missing some Registry keys. The first thing to try is to
put your C++Builder CD into the computer and run the installer. Proceed
through the dialogs until you see a "Registry Only" installation option. It
should appear as a checkbox on the dialog where you select a Full / Custom /
Typical install. Run the installer with that option selected to write the
C++Builder 5 keys to the Registry. Make sure C++Builder 5 is closed when
you do this.

If that fails to help, then you can also export this part of the Registry
from your other profile (where the IDE works properly) to the problematic
profile:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER | Software | Borland | C++Builder | 5.0

If none of the above helps, then please post back here and I'll help you
create the missing keys manually.

I tried the first option and it worked fine, FULL SETUP plus REGISTRY
SETTING ONLY. I had already done it, but I didn't select FULL SETUP (this
will install the program with all options turned on).
