BorlandTalk.com Borland discussion newsgroups   Archives   FAQ   Search   Memberlist   Usergroups   Register   Profile   Log in to check your private messages   Log in  View Pdf in C++ or VCL for XPdf          BorlandTalk.com Forum Index -> C++ Builder (VCL) View previous topic :: View next topic   Author Message M.E Guest Posted: Sat Nov 18, 2006 8:08 pm    Post subject: View Pdf in C++ or VCL for XPdf Hi all, I want to embed/integrate pdf viewing capability in my C++ builder application (just view nothing fancy) i) using TPdf - but the pdf.ocx seems has been removed in the latest Adobe Reader 7.0.8, the last i see is in Adobe Reader 6 ii) OleContainer - but this does not seems to be supported, and it will open Adobe Reader as an external application iii) ShellExecute - this will also will open Adobe Reader as an external application - So now i'm clueless, my last hope is on using XPdf, but does anyone know where to get this in the form of VCL for windows ? - Other suggestion is really appreciated as long as i don't have to spent money to buy 3rd party software to do this.
