Hi,
I often have .jbx files showing up in the list of files to be committed by
CVS. I not sure if I should commit them or not.
Could you tell me what they are and if I should commit them.
Thanks

The .jbx files are created by the Bean designer. They are used mainly to
presist information that you might have entered should you want to
regenerate classes such as a BeanInfo. If you don't care about that or
don't need to share these files with others on your team, then don't commit
them.

I think these are JavaBean Express files. They should be put into CVS.
Do not *.local files.

They get created if/when you play with the Bean properties (on the Bean
tab) of your source file. There may be other actions that can create
them, but I know that one.
Personally, I have them in my .cvsignore, but since they are not ignored
by default in JBuilder, I have to assume that someone thinks they need
to be under source control.

Thanks all. I think I'm going to commit them.
