Good Day All,

I never thought I would see the day, but, I have a DBase file, I suspect dbIv, with just over 3.5 million records. Now that I am Paradox convert, I tried to move these records into a Paradox table. The DBDsktop reported that a table was full, and only copied 570 000 records. The rest were just dropped. There is no way I can believe that this is a limit of Pdx. That being said, can any one tell me what the max size of a Pdx 7 table is?

Thanks,
Nick

Hi Again,

Also look at http://www.bdesupport.com/faq.htm and you'll find
a delphi sample on how to use DbiDoRestructure to change the
block size at run time.

Antonio,

Thanks for the info. I am going to have to rethink my DBMS.

Take it easy,
Nick

Nick,

Take a look at Interbase, you won't regret it.

Using the IBX Components and, if you need a free engine, the
Open Source version of Interbase (6.0.1.6) will give you a
fine DBMS System.
