Hello
One of our clients has asked us what would be involved in providing support
for IPv6. We are using Indy 9 and are unfamiliar with the low level workings
of this stuff.
I assume the OS has to provide support but that seems to be available from
MS for Windows 2003. So does the Indy crew need to provide support as well?
Thanks much, Frederick C. Wilt

IIRC, Indy 10 supports IPv6.

Indy 9 does not support IPv6. Indy 10 does, however.

Indy9 really not supporting IPv6. It is planned for Indy10. However
Synapse have good support for IPv6 for more then one year! BTW: IPv6
support in current Indy10 sources is worst then in my Synapse. ;-)

IPv6 is officially supported from XP with SP1! You can enable IPv6 in
WinXop withut servicepack too, but it is experimental, and some thinks
are changed! On some older windows youc an download experimental IPv6
support too, but is lot of problems with them, because it is still
incomplete.
