Hi,

I'm not familiar with special terms when looking for jobs
in the US. Can someone please explane me what phrase
'no sponsorship' means in the context of offering jobs.

Best regards,

It means if you aren't already in the US legally (citizen or green card,
don't apply)!

That means that the company does not want/cannot sponsor you when you
apply for a working VISA.
There is a special kind of VISA to migrate to the US (and other
countries like Australia) and work there, but you have to be "sponsored"
by a company and can only work for them for the duration of the Visa.
This has some overhead for the company (cost and paperwork) plus some
other details that I'm not aware of that mean it's "annoying" to employ
a sponsored employee.

Cheers

Olivier
