doesn't igve an answer.

CursorLocation of ADO datasets (query, table) has priority. CursorLocation
of TADOConnection is used when you get recordset with
TADOConnection.Execute() and it is default cursor location for ADO recordset
if you use it without ADO Express (dbGo).
