|
|
Hi,
I've noticed that borlndmm for D5 works better than
it's newer versions. I have dlls (COM) which use
sharemem unit. With borlndmm v5 there is no problem
with registering dlls using regsvr32, but when
I use newer version then registering lasts
about 15 seconds(!).
There is bigger problem. Now I have COM with
multiple interfaces inside (I don't know if it is
a problem...). When I register it (having borlndmm v5
in nearest path) everything works fine. When I use
newer version - there is an exception "memory
cannot be read" etc during registering
and aplication throws same exception several seconds
after closing.
Why newer versions of borlndmm are so unstable?
Are they better featured in some way?
Is it bad if I use borlndmm v5 with applications
compiled with Delphi 7?
I'm using Windows XP and Delphi 7 Pro.
I'm looking for your help with the problem.
Best regards,
Miroo
