Wow it's a good thing I checked this newsgroup before I did anything! o_O

Apparently I have a couple of programs installed on my notebook that made that
list. :(

The question for developers is do you want the cusotmers of your products to
find out BEFORE you do that your product might have problems operating under
SP2? I would rather be proactive and have a patch out there first for my
customers........

It's not a list of 'incompatible' programs, but programs that
are affected by SP2 and behave differently, this can range from
a couple extra warnings in specific situations, to crashes
or unability to run.
Still, it's quite an impressive list that is continually growing,
could have been simpler to list those programs that aren't
affected at all ;)

I've installed this, and all went well. But I now have a Delphi 7 Pro
problem in that when I run the IDE I get "SmartHeap Library
Mem_Bad_Pointer" errors. Clicking OK a few times gets the IDE up (if I
haven't switched away). I figure some component or add-in is doing this,
so if anyone knows of anything that uses SmartHeap, please let me know.

The good news is that all my apps work fine!

well, personally I will be greatly pissed off discovering that my clients can run my progs
under XP Sp2 only.

(well, of course, you can say I live in some malidubu-dubu, but still among those who _pay_ for OS
nobody use XP at all).

According to Microsoft, most of those problematic apps are because of the
XP-SP2 firewall thingy. Just get rid of that $?#&@ stuff and you're OK

I did the update then found that Delphi 7 Pro + DevExpress EWF cannot
compile.
The HTML Designer crashed because of some access violation with MSHTML.DLL.

Wasn't a good start since I use EWF quite extensively.
