Hi,
Why is it that SendMessage wm_close with word does not give a save as dialog
when the document being closed has changed?

I'm enumerating the top-level windows as i already have the process id to
winword - closing everthing as i go. I then use waitforsingleobect to check
that the process has terminated. All textbook stuff as in the ms example
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q178893

Everything i've tried to date is good EXCEPT word! Also have verified its
not my version of word as the same result is given on xp.

(i use SendMessage so i wait on the message queue rather than Postmessage
and wait on the process handle - although i have tried postmessage i still
get the same result).

Any ideas -
rgds angus.
