Which creates a new document in word. So now i have two word documents in word, the original and the merged. i do a doc.connectto(msword.activedocument) which should be the merged document but instead it creates another instance of a document. how do i get a tworddocument to connect to an already open document. Also, can I stop mailmerge from making a new document. i see there is wdSendtoNewdocument is there a wdUseExisting so i dont' need to work with more then one document at a time? Thanks.
