I'm needing a little help. I believe this really pertains to Crystal, but
thought I would pick your minds as well!

I have a file with >100,000 records. The dbf is indexed on a date field
(CLR_DT). The index is MDX.

In crystal, I'm setting up a record Selection as the following:

{db.CLR_DT} = Date(2004,04,05) //This should return about 20 recs

It appears as Crystal is traversing the database top to bottom. It takes a
long time for the report to be generated. It appears as the report is not
utilizing the index. I've also told Crystal to use an index if one exits.

Is there something special I need to do? Should the Date index be specified
in a special way?

I'm a little confused on how to speed this report up!

TIA,

Tom Woods
