It sure would go a long way in helping to curb some of the uncertainty about the future of Borlands/DevCo's software packages. This waiting is killing us... We will update Quality Central with a list of fixed bugs when the update is available. We're also working on bdsproj2mak and a sizeable list of C++ items for Highlander. I just hope that I don't have to spend more money to get Highlander because the necessary bugs/enhancements were not completed in BDS2006 That would greatly hurt "Borland's" efforts. Keep the bug fixes coming!! Many folk here were expecting it in an update?? Also, I wonder if Devco will look at introducing a subscription-only charging model for BDS, similar to MSDN? It could have a lot of advantages all round. They are separate. bdsproj2mak will be available after Update 2 and long before Highlander.
