In BCB6 + SP4 if try to modify any write protected file it don't allow me.
Its fine.
But when I remove the read-only attribute from that file even then BCB6
don't allow me to modify it. For this I have close the workspace and reopen
it.

Is there other way for the same.

Thanks in advance,
Manish

When you right Click in the Editor-Window with the opened Ex-read-only
file you will get a popup menue. There you have a point read only. If
you uncheck this Point you can Edit the file.

Best regards
Martin

Press the save-button in the toolbar then the read-only flag is removed

in the status-bar
