I have had my code looked at and it looks fine. The problem seems to be very hit and miss with the new Windows XP pro. Is there a security feature setting in XP Pro that might be blocking the registry writing? Is there a setting I can have the computer user change in XP pro to make the registry accessible? Thanks Larry Johnson. Larry.....look at your User Rights and Policies. There is a MMC service for setting these policies on a per-user basis. I'm not at a machine with Admin rights at the moment, so I can't direct you to the exact spot, but there are user access policies that govern this.
