Anybody know where I get hold of some fancy buttons that have that XP style
and feel (dithering, rounded, reflective colours etc).

http://www.delphi-gems.com/ThemeManager.php
(assuming that you want an existing application to display as XP when
running on XP).

Easiest is to drop the XPManifest control on a (one) form
in your project. I prefer to add XPMan to the uses clause
of the project.
Of course it's only possible starting D7.
Good luck,
Herre
