I'm just wondering if there perhaps would have been a marketing advantage of ordering BCB 2006, i.e., the marketing-types at Borland would track BCB 2006 orders or something... Who knows, maybe they're thinking of cancelling their C++ product at some point.. Traditionally Borland stuff hasn't asked for original serial numbers or checked your drive to see if it's installed.
