I ordered Delphi 2006, but and I'm assuming that BCB 2006 is the same
product with different packaging (correct me if I'm mistaken; everyone
else does!) I'm just wondering if there perhaps would have been a
marketing advantage of ordering BCB 2006, i.e., the marketing-types at
Borland would track BCB 2006 orders or something... Who knows, maybe
they're thinking of cancelling their C++ product at some point..

I specifically ordered BCB2006 and asked for a further discount due to
owning BCBv6 - Delphi2005 owners get an extra 5% discount so why
shouldn't we :-)

You might need to check whether the Delphi version only accepts
Delphi Serial Numbers for upgrade or whether you can enter
BCB serial numbers?

And did you get the extra 5%? I was initially told I would get
5% extra off but they changed their mind when I actually placed
my order!

Traditionally Borland stuff hasn't asked for original serial numbers or
checked your drive to see if it's installed. I hope that hasn't changed.

I just phoned Borland UK, after checking with her manager the woman said
that there was no extra discount available. How did you get yours ?
