I'm not surprised that this is your only objection. After all, the
article is full of good sense.

That's true. I have never ever seen Borland claim anywhere that
they follow the formula outlined in the beginning of the article.
And the rest just spans of from it.

I bought the Enterprise edition of their development environment - if I
wanted to talk to someone about bugs in the software, I would have to
buy premium support first, totally ignoring the implied warranty. Since
we wanted to provide our users with an explanation for the bugs that
make a new main release necessary more or less directly after releasing
1.4, I asked them for a public statement about some of their bugs that
are visible in 1.4. They did hesitantly provide some workarounds,
stating that customers paying extra for support would receive
corrections (keep in mind the implied warranty that law grants) sooner,
but couldn't provide an explanation in the past weeks.

If true it is kinda customer treatment tot to be looked forward to

We suspect he actually is a hopeless dupe whose real name is 'Painless'
Peter Potter ;>)
In The Paleface - one of his most popular roles, Bob Hope plays 'Painless'
Peter Potter, a timid correspondence school dentist earning a shaky living
in the lawless West. When 'Painless' is seduced into agreeing to a quickie
marriage by the voluptuous Jane Russell, he thinks his luck has changed.
Little does he suspect that Russell is actually sharpshooter Calamity Jane,
hot on the trail of a dangerous renegade gang and that she is simply using
'Painless' as her cover and unwitting dupe!

Especially tacky when bashing people by name, which was totally uncalled for
and unjustified. There's no acceptable excuse for rudeness.
